What is
Sound Healing?
Sound healing is a deeply grounding, body-based practice that uses natural vibration and frequency to support relaxation, regulation, and nervous system balance. Rather than asking you to think or talk your way into feeling better, sound meets you where you are - gently guiding your system back toward clarity. All you have to do is lay back and receive.
At Liminal Lemonade, sound sessions are designed as intentional, intuitive experiences. Whether you’re seeking deep rest, emotional processing, creative flow, or ongoing nervous system support, sound offers a non-verbal pathway into regulation and reconnection.

How Sound Therapy Works

Everything in the body communicates through vibration - from brainwaves to heartbeat to breathing to the subtle electrical signals that regulate our nervous system.
Sound therapy works by introducing steady, intentional frequencies that the body naturally entrains to over time. Research shows that certain sounds and rhythms can:
-
Encourage slower brainwave states associated with relaxation and meditation
-
Activate the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest)
-
Reduce stress hormones while increasing feelings of calm and safety
-
Support vagal tone and nervous system regulation
-
Improve focus, mood, and emotional resilience
It creates the conditions in which the body remembers how to self-regulate.
Sound doesn’t force change.

What Happens During an Group Sound Bath?
While Sound Baths are similar in nature, each practitioner has their own style. This is what you can expect from me:
A group sound bath is a shared, immersive listening experience designed to help you slow down, settle your nervous system, and give your mind a break from constant input.
You’ll arrive, get comfortable on the floor with your mat, blanket, or cushions and pull an optional oracle card. We’ll begin with a brief arrival moment to help everyone land in the space. From there, you simply lie down, close your eyes if you wish, and receive the vibrations.
I play a blend of crystal singing bowls, chimes, drums, and atmospheric instruments, allowing waves of frequency and vibration to move through the room. There’s nothing you need to do and nothing you need to achieve during the session. Some people drift into a dreamlike state, some stay mentally alert but relaxed, and some notice emotions or insights surfacing gently.
At the end, we return slowly, giving your body and nervous system time to reorient before heading back into the world.
Group sound baths are ideal if you want:
-
A reset for your nervous system
